Creativity should be fun

Playing Bananagram's Cobra Paw is a lot of fun. It's designed for 10 year olds but seems to bring out the child in all ages. At Defy Expectations we use games, especially in workshops because they're a great icebreaker, but mainly because they help people relax and be creative. When you get people together to solve complex business problems then humour can really help. We all think better when we are relaxed and 20 minutes playing games can be a great way into the some really courageous creative thinking, Games bring out different sides of peoples character and in some way diminish the politics and competition that can so easily get in the way of being creative. Try it next time you have a team event!
